Biography
Christos Alexakis was born in Piraeus. He is Associate Professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus. He has also taught at the universities of York, Leeds, Bradford and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Apart from university, he has extensive financial market experience since he has served as a consultant and a member of the Board of Directors in companies operating in the money and capital markets. This important professional experience is an element in which he enriches his teaching and research work. He has authored a number of research papers published in reputable scientific journals with judges and books on financial analysis of markets. Christos Alexakis was born in Piraeus.
