Biography
Éva Hegedüs is a CEO of Gránit Bank Zrt. she graduated at Budapest University of Economics with first class honours and began to work as analyst in 1979 at Industry and Production Engineering Institute, than worked in various governmental offices between 1981-1996. From 1993 she became deputy state secretary at Ministry of Finance. From 1997 she took part in the foundation of Land and Mortgage Bank, and as a deputy CEO headed the risk management and security department. She introduced the mortgage bond in Hungary. Between 2000-2002 in Ministry of Economic Affairs she was responsible for regulation of Hungarian energy sector liberalization and housing policy as deputy state secretary. Between 2002-2006 she was managing director of OTP Bank Hungary retail banking directorate.
