Dr. Ramachandraiah Gosu

Biography

Dr. Ram has over 15 years of research experience and his expertise involves Gene to Structure Projects, Protein Engineering, Macromolecular Crystallography and contributes to Structure Based Drug Discovery (SBDD). He oversees all functional projects in the dept: Production of Enzymatically Active Recombinant Proteins, Protein-to-Structure, Gene-to-Structure; as well as supports integrated drug discovery programs: by providing corystal structures of catalytic domains/full-length enzymes with small-molecule compounds under SBDD portfolio, required reagents (proteins for primary assays, over expressing cell lines for secondary assays etc).
