Biography
Dr. S. Majumdar is a Professor in Department of Chemistry in Tripura University. He has completed his Ph.D. with the specialization of Organic Chemistry.
Research Interest
His research interests are Organic chemistry: Aromaticity; Addition-Elimination reactions; reactive intermediates involved in organic synthesis; reagents in organic synthesis; carbohydrates; amino acids, peptides, proteins; various chromatographic techniques; supramolecular and nano chemistry; organic photochemistry; organometallics; heterocyclic chemistry, macrocyclic compounds and their synthesis; prostaglandins; antibiotics. Synthetic strategies; methodologies in organic synthesis; asymmetric synthesis.
