Biography
Mr. Shay Arotchas has over 14 years of experience in industrial engineering in the IT and Operations arena. He has gained his experience from large Hi-tech, medical device startup companies. Prior to managing Allium, Gardia and IBI Medical's operational activities, Shay managed his own company which specialized in contract manufacturing of medical devices and prior to that has served as the VP of Operations in Disc-O-Tech Medical Technologies. Following the company's acquisition by Kyphon/Medtronic Corp, Shay led the process of transferring the company's knowledge and manufacturing activities.
Research Interest
Shay's expertise is in transferring medical device products from the R&D phase to production, while ensuring manufacturability and quality of the products and building the required infrastructure within the information and quality systems. Shay has a BSc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Coventry University at Rupin College.
