Julie Schmitt

Biography

 Julie Schmitt earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a major in Business Management and a minor in English—Technical Writing. Since 2008, she’s been part of the editorial team at Dental Product Shopper, writing and editing articles for the magazine, and writing blogs and articles for the website and newsletters. As Associate Editor, she also coordinates the DPS team of over 1,000 evaluators—dental professionals from all over the United States who voluntarily test dental products and share their professional opinions with their peers. “It’s been extremely rewarding to work together with our evaluators and develop relationships with so many dental professionals over the years.  I’ve learned an enormous amount about the dental industry and particularly appreciate the recent advancements in science that can save lives, such as the early detection of oral cancer.”
