Carlo Bonazzi

Biography

Born in Mantua, Italy in 1929, he founded the Aquafil Group. After attending the Classical Lyceum, he immediately started to work in his father's fabric store. In early 1956, he and his wife Silvana opened a clothing business producing raincoats at a factory in Verona. In 1969, he founded Aquafil and held the position of chairman until 2008. 

Research Interest

Since 50 years, Aquafil has been one of the leading players, both in Italy and globally, in the production of Polyamide 6: a landmark in terms of quality and product innovation. Additionally, the Group is a leader in the research of new production models for sustainable development.
