Biography
Michele Valensise (born in 1952, 65 years) is Astaldi Vice President since 2016. From 2012 to 2016 is Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Italy, after eight years as Head of the Italian Diplomatic Missions in Brasilia (2004-2009) and Berlin (2009-2012). He holds a University degree in Law from Rome’s University “La Sapienza” (1974). He joined the foreign service in 1975. In 1978, He is in Brasilia with duties in both the press and economic sectors. From 1981 to 2004 He has served in many prestigious positions in the diplomatic sector.
