Biography
The Cardiology Unit recognizes among its commitments the overall cardiac evaluation of patients who are candidates for surgical or radiotherapy oncological treatment in order to define individual cardiovascular risk and foresee the need for monitoring possible complications Among the patients who are involved with our Foundation, who are candidates for surgery and / or medical therapy, many are subjected to diagnostic tests and therapies for ischemic heart disease, hypertension, valvulopathy, arrhythmias and cardiocirculatory scarring before and / or during oncological treatment.
Research Interest
The Cardiology Structure, in collaboration with other SCs and Departments, participates in clinical and instrumental diagnostic tasks at numerous Protocols of Study and Clinical Trials of Oncological Therapy with biological drugs for the development of innovative treatments.
