Biography

Valentin Chapero is a healthcare expert with substantial experience as an executive of globally operating healthcare companies. From 2002 to 2011 he was CEO of Sonova Holding, the Swiss hearing aid company, where he drove the development of the Company into the undisputed #1 manufacturer in the hearing aid industry. Before his role at Sonova, Mr. Chapero was President of Siemens AG's Mobile Networks Division (2000-2002) and CEO of Siemens Audiologische Technik GmbH (now: Sivantos, 1996-1999). Since 2012 Mr. Chapero is focused on non-executive roles as well as investment activities.
