Entrepreneur and immediate past chairman and CEO of NuVasive, Inc. (de facto founder). 30 years as a senior executive in the med tech industry including BackCare Group, Medtronic SofamorDanek, Smith and Nephew Orthopedics, and Meadox/Stryker joint venture. Long standing orthopedic industry expert with multiple achievement awards in entrepreneurship and leadership and many public appearances on panels, TV, media, Washington, DC, etc Served on a variety of public, private and not for profit boards including California Health Institute, BIOCOM, Medical Device & Manufacturers Association (MDM&A), Volcano, etc. Currently serving on boards of OnPoint, Inc, Holy Trinity Seminary, St Photios Orthodox Theological Seminary, Chairman and CEO of St Tikhon Russian-American Music Institute. Produced Broadway shows (Tony Award for MEMPHIS - Best Musical; First Date; MEMPHIS US tour and London West End) and produced orthodox liturgical music CD's and Concert Tours (Patriarch Tikhon Choir).
