Elena Cimino

Biography

 After the degree in Electronic Engineering I’ve been working for 18 years in the pharmaceutical market: 3 years in consulting (Accenture) and 15 years in the industry (Pfizer, TNG for Biomedica Foscama Group, Baxter). As a consultant I had the opportunity to work for different major pharma companies in different business areas covering the whole value chain. In Pfizer I spent 4 years in Sales Division with different management responsibilities focusing on improving the effectiveness of sales force and supporting the implementation of major organizational business model changes. Afterwards I spent 7 years in Marketing Division covering major therapeutic areas of primary and specialty care, always achieving sales and profit objectives. From August 2011 to December 2012 I built and launched a new Sales & Marketing organization (37 people) to promote and re-launch in the Italian market Biomedica Foscama Group product portfolio. In Baxter, until the end of 2015, I had the opportunity to manage an innovative integrated portfolio composed by pharma products, devices and innovative services. Recently I joined again Pfizer being included into the GIP (Global Innovative Pharma) business unit as Country Brand Leader.
