Biography
Bibiana Groppelli is an environmental engineer with seven years of experience in contaminated site assessment and water resource modelling. She supports the drafting of technical and legal reports concerning sites of national interest, focussing on hydrodynamics assessment, field supervision, data interpretation, reporting and environmental characterisation. Bibiana has worked on environmental impact assessment (EIA) and water management for various projects. She is a teaching assistant at the Polytechnic of Milan, department of environmental, hydraulic, infrastructures and surveying engineering – hydrogeology, water resources and coastal engineering (DIIAR-CIMI) and works with them on climate change. Bibiana holds a PhD in Hydraulic Engineering and Hydrology and an MSc in Environmental Engineering (Hydrology and Water Sector) as well as a scholarship at the Department of Hydraulic Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan.
