Biography
Mara heads our Milan Office and its Trademark Department. Her trademark practice began in 1995, and has focused mainly on Italian and European Union trademark procedures. She deals with trademark clearance and prosecution and handles proceedings before the European Union Intellectual Property Office – EUIPO, including oppositions and appeals. Mara has resolved trademark disputes for major multinational corporations as well as for Italian companies. Activity Trademark disputes. Trademark counseling. Memberships Member of the Ordine dei Consulenti in Proprietà Industriale (Italian Industrial Property Consultants Institute), of ECTA (Harmonization Committee), INTA (Madrid System Subcommittee) and MARQUES. Qualifications Italian and European Trademark Attorney, Community Design Attorney. Education Five-year degree in Mathematics, University of Milan.
