Biography
Pierfrancesco Dellino was born in Bari (Italy) on 1/31/1959. He got the degree in Geology and the PhD in Earth Science at Bari University. From 1993 to 2000 he was research assistant, from 2000 to 2001 associate professor, and from 2001 he is full professor of Volcanology at the Science Faculty of Bari University. His teaching activity is mainly dedicated to Geological Science and Natural Sciences graduate and undergraduate degrees, where he teaches Volcanology, Volcanic Risk and Data Analysis in Geology. He has been the supervisor of tens of graduate and PhD theses. He is member of the panel of the Earth Science PhD degree at Bari University. He also gives lectures and seminars for masters, workshops and schools in Italy and abroad.
