Stratigraphy, sedimentology and structural features of cretaceous-neogenic successions emerging from the outer edge of the Southern Apennines; Stratigraphy and sedimentology of continental and transitional quaternary successions emerging in plain areas (metapontina area of ​​"sea terraces" and pedemontana area of ​​the Appennino dauno). Geological Cartography aimed at the realization of the new Geological Map of Italy at scale 1: 50,000, the CAR of the APAT. Activities to promote the role of Earth Sciences in safeguarding and enhancing the environment.
