Biography
Prof. C. Borri holds the teaching of Computational Mechanics of Structures, Wind Engineering and Construction Science (respectively in Degree Courses in Civil Engineers, Civil Engineering and the Environment, Resources and Territory) at the facultyof Engineering of the Univ. from Florence; He also holds lessons on "Wind Risk" and "Structural Stability" at the International Doctoral Program "Natural Disaster Reduction Risk" (1999/2000), which has been the founder and co-ordinator since 2000. The Prof. Borri is a lecturer of numerous graduate theses each year and approx. 25 Doctoral theses, both in Italy and abroad. He is Author or co-author of approx. 170 scientific publications in the following areas: structural mechanics, computational methods in structural engineering, shape research, shell structures, non-linear structural mechanics, stochastic dynamics, wind engineering (about 60 in international journals).
