Biography
Period: 1983 - 1996 Primary school teacher - Ministry of Education From 1996 - October 31 1999 Researcher at the Faculty of Psychology - Departments of Psychology - University of Padua From 1999 to December 30 2002 Senior Researcher at the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Psychology Main activities and responsibilities Research, lectures in developmental psychology, responsible for Erasmus projects for the degree of Primary Education Science. Dates January, 1 2003 - December 22, 2011 Associate professor - Faculty of Psychology Main activities and responsibilities Research, lectures, responsible for the Erasmus project for the degree of Developmental Psychology, coordinator of the Degree in Developmental and Educational Psychology for 3 years (2004- 2007). Dates December 23, 2011 -onwards Full Professor of Developmental Psychology - Department of Educational Sciences and Psychology Main activities and responsibilities Research, University teaching. Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Psychology has recently been transformed into the Psychology of Life Cycle and contexts, vice-director of the Department of Educational Sciences and Psychology. Responsible for the evaluation of research and lecturing in the department. From March 1st 2016 - to October 30th 2017 - President of the School of Psychology From November 1st 2017 onwards - Head of Department of Educational Sciences and Psychedelology - University of Florence.
Research Interest
Main areas of research: 1. psycho-social risk factors in the school context: peer rejection, isolation, bullying and cyber bullying; 2. bullying, cyberbullying and new technologies 3.designing and evaluation of school interventions against bullying 4. romantic relationships, aggression and risk behaviors in adolescence; 5. the development of moral emotions and moral sensibility; 6. risk behaviors and family context; 7. temperament, emotion regulation and social behavior in childhood and adolescence
