Biography
Born in Bologna on April 30, 1963, married, with two children. Graduated in Economics and Commerce and Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics at the Higher School of University Studies and Continuing Education Anna Anna of Pisa (title obtained in 1991). Currently associate professor confirmed (disciplinary science disciplinary AGR-01 Economy and rural estimate) at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Florence.
Research Interest
The research activity covers in particular the following themes: - Economy and organization of the agricultural sector and the agro-industrial system, both vertically (agro-food system and production chains) and territorial (local production systems) - Agricultural cooperation and Economic organization of agricultural producers - Quality in the agri-food system, with particular reference to traditional and typical products and geographical indications - Dynamics and rural development policies - Multifunctionality of agriculture, agriculture and environment relations and agri - environmental policy analysis - Diversification of agriculture, with reference to agritourism and rural tourism.
