Born in Florence on August 1, 1949. 1978: Degree in Medicine and Surgery, University of Florence. 1980: Glaxo scholarship. 1982: Specialization in Respiratory and Tisiology Diseases, University of Florence. 1985-2001: Graduated Technician at the Respiratory Physiopathology of the University of Florence. 1987: Visiting research fellow, Brompton Hospital, University of London, UK. 2001-2004:
Research Interest
1) Physiopathology of bronchial tone; 2) Pathophysiology of breathing control; 3) Diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough; 4) clinical-functional evaluation of bronchodilator drugs.
