Biography
Lisa Granchi, born in Florence on April 1, 1959, graduated in Biological Sciences in 1987. From 1987 to 1995, at the Agrarian Faculty of the University of Florence, she collaborated as a fellow with numerous research projects in ecology and the physiology of yeasts and bacteria of oenological interest. From 1995 to 2005 he was a university researcher for the AGR / 16 (Agricultural Microbiology) field at the Department of Agricultural Biotechnology at the University of Florence and from November 1, 2005 is Associate Professor of the same disciplinary field at the same Department. He has been and is responsible for various research projects. He is a member of various scientific societies, d2003 is a Scientific Expert of the OIV (Italian Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Policies) (Office International of the Vigne et du Vin).
Research Interest
The research activity, attested by scientific publications in national and international journals , deals with the following topics: I) - Control and management of malolactic fermentation in wine. II) - Study of the biodiversity of yeasts and bacteria. III) - Dynamics of microbial populations in spontaneous vinification IV) -Development of rapid identification methods and counts of yeasts and bacteria
