Paolo Bonanni

Biography

Paolo Bonanni graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Genoa on July 24, 1985, with 110/110 marks and praise. He obtained the Diploma of Specialization in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, Public Health orientation, in 1989 with 50/50 praise and praise, and with Laboratory guidance in 1992, with grades 50/50 and praise. From 1/11/1992 to 31/10/2000 he has served as Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Hygiene Methodology at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Florence. From 1/11/2000, he was called by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Florence to serve as the Extraordinary Professor of Hygiene. He is currently Professor of Hygiene at the same Faculty. Paolo Bonanni's scientific activity mainly concerned studies on epidemiology and the prevention of infectious diseases (including the testing and characterization of immune response to new vaccines), with particular reference to viral hepatitis, measles, influenza, rubella, pertussis, diphtheria, and varicella. most recently, to HPV infection. He conducted investigations into the relapse of health education programs and studies on the effectiveness of new disinfectants

He also devoted himself to the development and comparison of immunoenzymatic, radioimmunological and molecular biology methods aimed at epidemiology of transmissible diseases, particularly in the field of viral hepatitis, pregnancy infections, sexually transmitted diseases,
