Higher education 1992-2000: University of Florence (Italy), Faculty of Literature and Philosophy. Graduate studies, Major: Oriental Studies and Languages. MA thesis: "An example of Arab-Christian apology and erosion: two theological treatises in Sulaym? N al-azz? »(110/110 cum laude). 2002-2006: University of Florence (Italy), Faculty of Literature and Philosophy. Ph.D. studies in "Languages ​​and Cultures of the Mediterranean Area". Ph.D. thesis: Sulaym al-Ibn 'asan al- Palestinian Bishop of Gaza (X-XI century): for a new critical edition of some theological treatises . Supervisor: Lidia Bettini. Degree conferred on 30 May 2006. 2008-2010: Catholic University of Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve - Belgium). Post-doctorate research as Marie Curie Fellow.
