Biography
Prof. Paolo Rovero, born in Florence in 1958, graduated in organic chemistry with the University of Florence in 1983 and specialized in peptide chemistry with the University of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, in 1985.
Research Interest
Since 1985, his research interests are related to the design, synthesis, conformational analysis and biological characterization of peptides of pharmaceutical interest. He is coauthor of more than 180 scientific publications on international journals and of 20+ patents of pharmaceutical relevance. He is a member of the Italian Chemical Society, of the European Peptide Society and of the American Peptide Society (charter member).
