Biography

Graduated in 1973 in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florence. In 1976 he specialized in Medical Toxicology and in 1979 in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation at the same University. From 1973 to 1974 he was a fellow of the Ministry of Education, in January 1975 following a decision of the Board of Directors of the Florence University of Medicine at Toxicology of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Florence. Since 1981 Researcher Confirmed and from 1988 to 2001 Associate Professor of Toxicology; since 2001 Ordinary Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Florence. PhD student at Pharmacology and Toxicology in Florence since the 1st cycle; Coordinator of the Eighteenth Phase of Research in Pharmacology and Toxicology. Professor at PhD in Biology and Clinic of Alcoholism and PhD in Neuropsychopharmacology and Addiction until their suspension. Director of the School of Specialization in Medical Toxicology from 2002 until today. Since 1974 she has been continuously engaged in care and counseling in U.O. of Toxicology and Medicine of Drug Addiction (Careggi Hospital Company - University of Florence). Since 2004 member appointed by the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Council of the Language Center of the Florentine University.
