Biography
Dr. Prof. SECCHI Andrea is currently working as a assoiate professor in the Department of , University of Parma , Italy . His research interests includes supramolecular chemistry, molecular recognition and nanosciences. In particular, the synthesis of phenol macrocyclic compounds (calixarenes) for the selective recognition of ion pairs and neutral organic species, synthesis and properties of pseudorotaxanes and rotaxanes compounds based on calix[6]arene derivatives and the preparation of new hybrid organic-inorganic materials (gold nanoparticles and self-assembled monolayer on Si) coated with functional calixarene derivatives.. He /she is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Prof. SECCHI Andrea is the member of many international affiliations. He/ She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities. He /she has authored of many research articles/books related to supramolecular chemistry, molecular recognition and nanosciences.
