Biography
Achille Antenucci was born in Campobasso on June 11th 1991, where he graduated with full marks at liceo "A. Romita". He obtained his bachelor degree in Chemistry cum laude at University "La Sapienza" of Rome in december 2013 under the supervision of dr. Riccardo Salvio and, later, he graduated as MS cum laude (curriculum Organic and Biomolecular) under the supervision of prof. Marco Bella, discussing a thesis entitled "Enantioselecive synthesis of biaryl compounds without the employment of transition metals". During his studies, he was assignee of two scholarships for working as an assistant at Erasmus help desk (march 2012- july 2012) and at Organic Chemistry laboratories (march 2014- january 2015). He is co-author of two scientific articles. He was furthermore selected as relator of an oral communication at 7th edition of "Convegno Giovani Chimici" (Rome, june 2016). He is currently attending the first year of PhD in Chemical Sciences, working on the synthesis through asimmetric organocatalysis and characterization of chiral molecules with stereogenic centres or axes.
