Biography
Cristian Camuto (born January 2, 1991 in Messina), on 10.24.2013 he obtained a Bachelor degree in Chemistry with a mark of 110 at the University of Messina with a thesis entitled "Determination of Iodide Ion in Natural Waters: Comparison Between two Methods of Analysis and Validation of Analytical Data" held at the ARPA laboratories of Reggio Calabria. On 12.16.2016 he obtained his Master degree in Analytical Chemistry at the University La Sapienza of Rome with a mark of 110 cum laude with a thesis entitled "Development and validation of a method for antidoping purpose for the identification of glucocorticoid in urine by GC-C-IRMS "held at the FMSI Anti-doping laboratory in Rome. On 01/04/16 he received a research scholarship from the University Cattolica of Rome, and has been working for the development and validation of methods for drug discovery in biological matrices. From 10.20.2016 he has been starting the XXXII cycle of PhD program in chemistry of the University La Sapienza of Rome. The focus of his research activities is still on drug discovery and in vitro and in vivo metabolism of new psychoactive substances at the FMSI Anti-doping laboratory in Rome, with projects in collaboration with the Department of Experimental Medicine, University of Ferrara and the Institute of Public Health, section of Legal Medicine of the University Hospital “Gemelli” (University Cattolica of Rome).
