Biography
Valentina Migliorati was born in Rome in 1980. She graduated magna cum laude in Chemistry in 2006 from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", with a thesis entitled "Structural and dynamic investigation of aqueous solutions of the Hg(2+) and Cd(2+) ions by means of computational methods and X-ray absorption spectroscopy." In 2009 she earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences supervised by Prof. Paola D'Angelo, with a final dissertation entitled "A combined theoretical and experimental investigation of Ion Hydration". Moreover, in December 2014 she got the habilitation as Associate Professor in "General and Inorganic Chemistry" (area 03/B1). Since 2010 she is a post-doc researcher at the Chemistry department of the University of Rome "La Sapienza".
