Biography
Riccardo Salvio was born in Rome and graduated in Chemistry with praise in 2001. He obtained his doctorate in chemistry in 2004 under the supervision of Prof. Luigi Mandolini. In 2005 she moved to the United States at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, Calif. (USA) where she worked for two years as a post doc at Prof. Julius Rebek's group. In 2007 he moved to the Twente University (Enschede, Netherlands) where he worked for two years as a postdoctor. In 2009 he returned to Italy as a holder of a "Brain Return" type contract. From 2015 he is Researcher TD at the Department of Chemistry de La Sapienza. He is a researcher at the Department of Education within the faculty of Science and the Faculty of Medicine. Research Line: Synthesis and study of the catalytic activity of artificial nucleases based on molecular platforms and nanostructured systems.
