Biography
Andrea Barlucchi graduated in 1991 and has been a PhD in Medieval History since 1996. He obtained post-doctoral scholarships at the Harvard Center for Italian Renaissance Studies in Florence and at the University of Florence. Since 2008 he is Researcher and Aggregate Professor of Medieval History at the University of Siena, based in Arezzo. His field of research is the history of the Tuscan countryside in the late Middle Ages, especially from an economic, social and institutional point of view.
