Biography
He has taught Judaism at the University of Vienna and Jiddish Culture at the University of Rome La Sapienza, and at the University of Siena, Arezzo, focusing mainly on the autobiography of the Hebrew-German area, from Glückel von Hameln to Freud. In this field of research, he published, among other things, the treatment of Beyond the Persecution: Women, Judaism, Memory, Rome, 2004; Juden monographic number of "German Culture" 2003; together with Giulio Schiavoni, of Western and Eastern Judaism, Siena, 2002, together with Wilhelm Pfeitlinger of a monographic issue of "German Culture" on Canetti (2008) and together with Claudia Sonino of "I write German because I am Jewish", Arezzo 2008. He has also published essays on subjects related to Literature and persecution. She was responsible for projects of national interest in the Hebrew-German area. He directs the magazine "Daf Werkstatt". He is editor of the magazine "German Culture". She was Visiting Professor at the Universities of Toronto, Rochester, Harvard.
