LAURA SELBMANN is Associate Professor ,Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences (DEB) at University of Tuscia.At present she has described 21 new genera and 52 new fungal species from extreme environments. Author of 56 peer reviewed papers, citation 1390 H index 20.
Research Interest
Research interest focuses on fungus from extreme environments, mainly Antarctic, biodiversity, evolution adaptation, survival and stress resistance with implications in Astrobiology.
