LAURA ZUCCONI GALLI FONSECA is Associate Professor ,Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences (DEB) at University of Tuscia.He has been rapporteur and controversial for more than 30 thesis thesis and triennial degrees.Reviewer for numerous international scientific journals with Impact Factor including International Biodegradation and Biodegradation, Journal of Basic Microbiology, Science of the Total Environment, Plant Biosystems.Author of more than 100 scientific publications and participation in national and international conferences.
Research Interest
The systematic and taxonomic, even molecular, fungal species, micocenoses in the Mediterranean and Antarctic environment, with particular reference to the response of the individual species and the whole community to stressful environmental conditions, including simulated and real space conditions; lichen biomonitoring; the implementation of the checklist of Italian mushrooms; the morphological, molecular and physiological characterization of biodeteriogens responsible for the attachment of cultural goods; conservation and protection of plant biodiversity with particular reference to orchids.
