Biography
Maurizio Petruccioli is a Professor in Department of Biological Agro-Food and Forestry Systems (DIBAF) of the University of Tuscia (Viterbo). He has published over 130 articles on various aspects of both Basic and Applied Microbiology, published in national and international journals.
Research Interest
Isolation and selection of filamentous fungi for the production of enzymes of potential industrial and environmental interest; development of fermentative processes (at laboratory level briars) for the production of biomass, enzymes and other products (organic acids, pigments, etc.) from filamentous yeasts or fungi; biotransformation and / or exploitation of waste, residues and refuse of agri-food; contamination of contaminated soil; obtaining and structural and physiological characterization of fungal biofilms.
