Aidan O’meara

Biography

 Aidan O’Meara is Vice President, VF Corporation & Group President, VF International. Based in Stabio, Switzerland, O’Meara is responsible for driving the growth of VF's diverse portfolio of brands throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and the Asia Pacific region. Before being appointed to his current position in 2017, O’Meara served as VF’s President of the Asia Pacific region for 10 years. Under his leadership, VF established a presence in China and in seven other countries in the region, and VF’s annual revenues in the region grew tenfold to more than $1.2 billion. Today, there are almost 4,000 employees working across eight countries, including China, up from the 300 employees when O’Meara took on the leadership of the region. O’Meara joined VF in 1992, leading the Wrangler brand business in Ireland, then progressing to Managing Director of Jeanswear for the United Kingdom before becoming leader for VF in northern Europe. He later became President of VF’s Jeanswear international business. Before joining VF, he held a variety of brand marketing and sales management positions for various FMCG companies in the USA and Ireland. O’Meara holds an honors degree in Business Studies from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
