Biography
Fabio is the head of Corporate Affairs and Business Development for the Italian-based Caltagirone Group, and formerly served as Italy’s Chief of Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Finances. In 2001, he was a member of the committee for the adoption of the Euro. He has been featured by Il Foglio magazine as one of Italy’s top influencers under the age of 40. Fabio has held senior-level investment and external affairs roles at Infostrada and Fondazione CRT. He has been extremely active in Italian politics and defense, working for the Italian Ministry of Defense, Department of Diplomatic Counseling, and Military Center for Strategic Studies. He has authored multiple books on Italian politics and economics. From 1998 to 2001, he represented the Italian Association for Information Technology and Italian Association for Industrial Policies. In addition to Afiniti’s board of directors, Fabio serves on the board of Fondazione CRT, Cementir Holding, Banca della Svizzera Italiana, Terna Spa, and the Teatro Regio of Turin. He is also a senior advisor of Credit Suisse.
