Biography
Yves Laurent is an Industrial Engineer who graduated in 1986 from UQTR, and with a Master’s in Project Management in 1994 from UQAM. Yves Laurent is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Lean Sensei. Yves Laurent comes from the manufacturing sector and a research centre (CRIQ) to improve manufacturing performance. Yves Laurent was one of the pioneers of Lean / PVA in Québec in 1990 and the IMPACT – KAIZEN methodology in 1995. He completely masters Productivity, Innovation and Management tools. Yves Laurent was a partner in an engineering consultant company. He then founded his own engineering consultant company ProMainTech, which became Promaintech Novaxa following an acquisition. Yves Laurent set up a team of over 50 professionals and the company achieved average growth of over 30% per year by completing projects in over 1000 companies, primarily in Canada, but also divided in 17 countries.
