Biography
Yoshida Toyokazu is currently working in Gifu University,Japan. His research work is on enzymology and microbiology is as follows: (1) Funcional characterization of novel decarboxylases catalyzing the reverse carobyxlation reaction and their application to the synthesis of useful carboxylic acid, (2) Eneyzmatic synthesis of optically active amines using novel enzymes such as imine reductatse, aminotransferase and hydrolase, (3) Application of nitrile-degrading enzymes to the industrial production of useful amides and carboxylic acids. In experiences of the above studies, the findings of novel microbial enzymes and genes are important to develope a new bioconversion system. Therefore, I have been continuing to isolate microorganisms extensively from soil samples
Research Interest
His research interest is on Microbial Conversion, Enzyme Utilization, Enzyme Catalysis
