Dr. Kenneth R. Melani Chairman Dr. Melani has been active for more than 30 years in the healthcare industry as a provider, supplier and insurer. Starting his career as a practicing physician, he eventually became Chief Executive Officer of a major health insurance company and later founded a health care consulting firm. Dr. Melani graduated summa cum laude from Washington and Jefferson College with a B.A. in chemistry, received a doctorate of medicine from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, completed his residency at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital and is board certified in internal medicine (ABIM).
