Employment History : 1990-1991: Samyn and Partners Architects and Engineers, Brussels. 1991-1992: AUAI Lucien Kroll, Brussels. 2000-2001: Lecturer, Waseda University, Tokyo. 2001-2011: Associate Professor, The University of Kitakyushu. Since 2011: Professor, The University of Kitakyushu.

- Redevelopment of urban and declining industrial areas, - Citizen Participation in Urban and Regional Planning, - Environmental Architecture and Urban Design, - Green infrastructure in Urban Areas.
