Biography

Hidehiko Atago  is one of the the Directors of the Boardof Maruho Maintaining good health has always been a major concern of people all over the world. As a pharmaceutical company, Maruho is addressing health problems with the utmost seriousness and sincerity. In order for Maruho to fulfill this Corporate Mission, in 2002 we decided to dedicate ourselves to dermatology and topical drugs. In line with this policy, we adopted our Long-Term Vision 2002 with the theme "Global Boutique Company for Dermatology." In order to offer our products to patients with skin disorders and diseases, under that long-term vision, we concentrated our managerial resources in research and development, manufacturing, and marketing activities for dermatological pharmaceuticals. As a result, Maruho has built a reputation for integrity among medical institutions throughout Japan as a pharmaceutical company specializing in dermatology.
