Biography
Ayako Tamura has done her PhD from Tokushima University in 1998. Currently she is working as Professor in Faculty of Medicine at Tokushima University. Her research interests are Adult Nursing, Rehabilitation Nursing, Adult and Gerontological Nursing, Cranial nerve nursing, A study on care method of patient with consciousness disorder (acute phase, nutrition· diet therapy), Research on development of function training program after surgery (rehabilitation, improvement / improvement of nursing care, disability of consciousness, acute phase), Recovery promotion nursing for prevention of waste syndrome of stroke patients, recovery promotion care for motor paralysis, nursing of patients with cranial nerve and neurological disorders (stroke nursing, rehabilitation nursing, patient education of lifestyle diseases). Several papers of her work were pubished in reputed international journals. She is also the member of Japan Society of Neurological Nursing Research, Japan Society for Neurological Nursing Research, NPO corporation Japan Rehabilitation Nursing Association, Japan Neuroscience Nursing Association, Japan Cardiovascular Nursing Association, Japanese Consciousness Disorder Association, Japan Academy of Nursing Education, Japan Academy of Nursing Science, Japanese Society of Cancer Nursing, Tokushima Nursing Association.
