Biography
Hiro-O Ito has done his PhD from Osaka University in 1987. Currently he is working as Professor in Faculty of Dentistry at Tokushima University. His research interests are Preventive Dentistry, Systemic Infections Caused by Oral Indigenous Bacteria; Pathogenesis and Prevention, Search for Molecular Mimics That Inhibit Bacterial Adherence, Clinical Epidemiological Studies for Prevention and Treatment of Dental Diseases., Immune Network/Immunological Memory and Maternal Immunity/Mucosal Immunity. Several Papers of his work were published in reputed international journals. He is also the member of Japanese Society for Dental Health, Japanese Association for Oral Biology, Japanese Society for Immunology, The Japanese Society of Periodontology, Japanese Society of Public Health, International Association for Dental Research, American Society for Microbiology, Kinki Shikoku Shikoku Oral Hygiene Association.
