Biography
Biotechnology is the use of living systems and organisms to develop or make products, or "any technological application that uses biological systems. Advances in genomics, proteomics, and bioinformatics have revolutionized the drug discovery process to lead to development of new therapeutic strategies (lead compounds) that will be more efficient, sensitive and cost-effective. My research is based on development of lead compounds using informatics tools to produce more efficient drugs.
