Peter Ubanowicz

Biography

Peter is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Healthcare Industry Group and leads the firm’s healthcare compliance practice. With prior service as deputy general counsel of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Tenet Healthcare, he brings more than 20 years of experience in addressing challenging healthcare issues in government and private industry. Mr. Urbanowicz earned a Bachelor’s degree and a JD degree from Tulane University. He is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the Louisiana Supreme Court.
