Michelle Gan

Biography

 Michelle Gan completed her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Southern Queensland, Australia in 1996. She started her career at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as an auditor in 1996. She joined Neuroweb Sdn Bhd, an IT company in 2000, and in 2002, she joined StemLife Berhad, a company involved in stem cell banking and therapy.  During her employment with StemLife Berhad, her responsibilities included managing the overall finance and accounting function, budgeting, development of company accounting policies and ensuring compliance with the Malaysian Accounting Standard. Her role also included managing the operation of branches, human resources management, planning and implementing appropriate business development strategies to achieve the company’s objectives of increasing profitability and expanding its market share.  Michelle joined the Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation Sdn Bhd in 2005 and has been involved in the initial design, development and implementation of the BioNexus Status application processes and its incentives. Michelle is a member of the ASCPA and MIA.
