Biography
Rosli Said, graduated from Reading University, UK with a Degree (Hons) in Land Management. He then pursued his studies at the same university and subsequently Ulster University, Northern Ireland, UK and attained a Master of Science in Urban Land Appraisal and Ph.D., respectively. He is a Chartered Surveyor, Registered Property Manager and a member of MIPPM, RISM and RICS. He is also a Profesional Valuer and Estate Agent registered with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia. Rosli commenced his career as a property development executive with Abrar Group International and involved in feasibility studies, development appraisal and real estate marketing. Prior to becoming an academician, Rosli worked with Henry Butcher Malaysia as a Research Manager and involved in consultancy jobs in real estate research, valuation, development, marketing, finance and investment locally as well as overseas. Being an academician, Rosli involves in several research projects, among others, an assessment of housing affordability in Malaysia, evaluation of housing finance system in emerging markets and forecasting office demand in Kuala Lumpur. Rosli's fields of interest include housing research, property modelling and forecasting, real estate development and real estate finance and investment.
