Biography
Andrea DiFabio is Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. Prior to joining Bioverativ, Andrea DiFabio was Chief Research & Business Development Counsel at Biogen. She brings more than two decades of legal experience, 15 years of which are within the life sciences industry—spanning Commercial, Corporate, Compliance, Business Development and R&D. Before joining Biogen in 2006, Andrea was Corporate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Parexel International, a global contract research organization, based in Waltham, MA. Prior to that, Andrea was a trial lawyer for two Boston law firms, Brown Rudnick Freed & Gesmer, and Robins, Kaplan Miller & Ceresi, where she focused on business litigation. Andrea presently serves on the board of overseers at the Museum of Science and has previously served on the Board of the Northeast Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Boston University and earned her JD from Northeastern University.
