Biography
As a PhD candidate I am currently involved in the NWO project ‘Past El Niño variability: linking annual resolution records of vegetation dynamics to climate forcing’ under supervision of dr. Timme Donders and prof. dr. Rike Wagner-Cremer. I am reconstructing past El Niño events in Southern America, by using high-resolution pollen records preserved in lake sediments from the Ecuadorian Andes.
